Related Themes: Agni Purana 33 (pūjā-vidhi: nyāsa, mānasa-pūjā); Agni Purana 34 (continuation of arcana/vidhi themes, where applicable)
It teaches nyāsa (mantra-installation) on the hand and body as a prerequisite for mānasa-yāga, then specifies the locus of worship—Viṣṇu in the heart-lotus—using mental upacāras like flowers.
It preserves a concise, manual-like ritual protocol (nyāsa + internal worship) that aligns with broader pūjā-vidhi and mantra practice, showing the Agni Purana’s coverage of practical liturgy alongside other sciences.
By internalizing worship after purificatory nyāsa, the practitioner directs devotion inward, cultivating concentration and purity; the merit is linked to disciplined, uninterrupted remembrance and offering to Viṣṇu within the heart.
