सर्षपांस्तद्वदस्त्रेण इति ङ, चिह्नितपुस्तकपाठः कुशाग्रेणैव तां भुवमिति ङ, चिह्नितपुस्तकपाट्ःअः शतवारं मन्त्रयित्वा त्वस्त्रेणैव च वर्धनीं अच्छिन्नधारया सिञ्चन् ईशानान्तं नयेच्च तं
sarṣapāṃstadvadastreṇa iti ṅa, cihnitapustakapāṭhaḥ kuśāgreṇaiva tāṃ bhuvamiti ṅa, cihnitapustakapāṭḥaḥ śatavāraṃ mantrayitvā tvastreṇaiva ca vardhanīṃ acchinnadhārayā siñcan īśānāntaṃ nayecca taṃ
‘سرسوں کے دانے بھی اسی طرح استر (اسلحہ) منتر سے’—یہ ایک نشان زدہ اختلافِ نسخہ ہے؛ اور ‘کُشا کی نوک سے اس زمین کو’—یہ دوسرا اختلافِ قراءت ہے۔ منتر سو بار جپ کر کے، استر منتر ہی سے وردھنی برتن پر بے رکاوٹ دھارا کے ساتھ چھڑکاؤ کرے اور اسے ایشان (شمال مشرق) کنارے تک لے جائے۔
