अग्निं परिचरन् नित्यं वदन् सत्यं सुभाषितम् । प्राणयात्रानुसक्तस्तु योऽसौ जीवं न पातयेत् ॥ ८.४ ॥

Laging naglilingkod sa banal na apoy, nagsasalita ng katotohanan at mabubuting salita—ang taong nakatuon sa pagpapanatili ng buhay ay hindi dapat magpabagsak ng alinmang nilalang na may buhay (huwag pumatay).
