The Hunter’s Austerity and the Gaining of Durvāsas’ Favor

एवं विधस्य मे देवि दयां कुरु सरिद्वरे । ऋषेः क्षालार्थसलिलं समीपं कुरु माचिरम् ॥ ३८.२५ ॥

evaṁ vidhasya me devi dayāṁ kuru saridvare | ṛṣeḥ kṣālāthasalilaṁ samīpaṁ kuru mā ciram || 38.25 ||

O Diyosa, pinakamainam sa mga ilog, mahabag ka sa tulad ko. Ilapit—nang walang pagkaantala—ang tubig na gagamitin ng rishi sa paglilinis.
