The Birth of Gokarṇa and the Fruits of Śiva Worship

इत्युक्तः स शुकः सर्वं शशंसात्मपुराकृतम् ।। शृणु रौद्रं यथा पूर्वे मया कृतमबुद्धिना

ity uktaḥ sa śukaḥ sarvaṃ śaśaṃsātmapurākṛtam || śṛṇu raudraṃ yathā pūrve mayā kṛtam abuddhinā

Sa gayon na tinanong, isinalaysay ni Śuka ang lahat ng dati niyang ginawa. “Makinig ka sa mabagsik na gawa na minsan kong nagawa dahil sa kakulangan ng pag-unawa.”
