The Efficacy and Sacred Merit of Akrūra Tīrtha

अमावस्यां महारक्षः श्राद्धं कृत्वा स्त्रियां व्रजेत् ॥ तेन पापेन लिप्येऽहं यद्यहं नागमे पुनः ॥

amāvasyāṃ mahārakṣaḥ śrāddhaṃ kṛtvā striyāṃ vrajet | tena pāpena lipye 'haṃ yady ahaṃ nāgame punaḥ ||

O dakilang tagapagtanggol, kung sa araw ng amāvasyā (bagong buwan) ay magsagawa ng śrāddha at pagkatapos ay pumunta sa isang babae—nawa’y madungisan ako ng kasalanang iyon kung hindi ako muling darating.
