Varaha Purana 128.44 — Adhyaya 128, Shloka 44

Rites for the comb, collyrium, and mirror; initiations for the four social orders; and the Gaṇāntikā vow/insignia

श्रीवराह उवाच ॥ देवि तत्त्वेन वक्ष्यामि यन्मां त्वं परिपृच्छसि ॥ येन चिन्तयसि चिन्तां मम कर्मपरायणा

śrīvarāha uvāca || devi tattvena vakṣyāmi yan māṃ tvaṃ paripṛcchasi || yena cintayasi cintāṃ mama karmaparāyaṇā

Sinabi ni Śrīvarāha: “O Diyosa, ipaliliwanag ko ayon sa tunay na tattva ang iyong itinatanong sa akin—sapagkat ikaw ay nagmumuni-muni nang may pag-aalala, na nakatuon sa aking gawain.”
