आब्रह्मस्तम्बपर्यंतं जगत्तृप्यत्विति ब्रुवन् । अपसव्येन विधिवत्तर्प्पयेदंजलित्रयम्
ābrahmastambaparyaṃtaṃ jagattṛpyatviti bruvan | apasavyena vidhivattarppayedaṃjalitrayam
Habang binibigkas, “Nawa’y masiyahan ang sanlibutan—mula kay Brahmā hanggang sa isang talim ng damo,” nararapat na maghandog ng tarpaṇa ayon sa wastong ritwal, suot ang sagradong sinulid sa baligtad na paraan, at magbigay ng tatlong dakot ng tubig sa magkakuping palad.
