तस्याद्भुतं तपो दृष्ट्वा तुष्टोऽहं तस्य सुन्दरि । वरं वृणीष्वेति मया स च प्रोक्तो निशाकरः
tasyādbhutaṃ tapo dṛṣṭvā tuṣṭo'haṃ tasya sundari | varaṃ vṛṇīṣveti mayā sa ca prokto niśākaraḥ
Nang makita ko ang kanyang kahanga-hangang pag-aayuno at pagtitika, O marikit, ako’y nalugod sa kanya. “Pumili ka ng biyaya,” wika ko; at sa gayon ay kinausap ko si Niśākara (ang Buwan).
