śrāddhakṛdgoṣpade yastu pitṝṇāmanṛṇo hi saḥ | padamadhye viśeṣeṇa kulānāṃ śatamuddharet
Sinumang magsagawa ng śrāddha sa Goṣpada ay tunay na napapawalang-utang sa mga ninuno (pitṛ). Lalo na kung sa pinakagitna ng banal na ‘pada’ ito gawin, naiaangat niya ang sandaang angkan.
