एवं कृत्वा नरो भक्त्या लभते जन्मनः फलम् । तीर्थेषु दानं वक्ष्यामि येषु यद्दीयते तिथौ

Transliteration

evaṃ kṛtvā naro bhaktyā labhate janmanaḥ phalam | tīrtheṣu dānaṃ vakṣyāmi yeṣu yaddīyate tithau

Translation

Kapag ginawa ito nang may debosyon, natatamo ng tao ang tunay na bunga ng pagsilang bilang tao. Ngayon ay ilalarawan ko ang mga dāna sa mga tīrtha—kung ano ang dapat ihandog sa bawat tithi (araw ng buwan).
