Type: ghat
Scene: Pilgrims bathe in a sacred waterbody, then pour water over the liṅga with devotion; afterward, they offer coins, cloth, and food to brāhmaṇas seated in a row, with the sea-temple horizon of Prabhāsa behind.
Purification is completed by a triad: tīrtha-snāna, reverent service to the deity, and dāna—together framed as a path to release from sin.
The “great tīrtha” at Prabhāsa associated with the Rukmavatī-established Liṅga (Rukmavatīśvara).
Snāna in the tīrtha, careful washing/laving of the Liṅga, and giving wealth as dāna to brāhmaṇas.
