Sinabi niya, “Paano ko maihaharap ang aking mukha (sa kanya)?” at sa sariling kalooban, iniwan niya ang katawan sa pamamagitan ng yoga ng matinding tapa, at wala nang inalala pang iba.
Narrator (Purāṇic narrator within Prabhāsakṣetramāhātmya)
Scene: Satī, overwhelmed by shame and anger, turns inward; seated or standing in yogic composure, she releases the body through tapas-yoga—her expression dissolving into stillness as the world fades from her memory.
When dharma is violated through contempt of the divine, the inner being recoils; austerity-yoga is portrayed as a powerful, decisive spiritual act.
The verse sits within the Prabhāsakṣetra Māhātmya narrative arc, connecting cosmic Shaiva events to Prabhāsa’s sanctity.
No external ritual; it references tapo-yoga (austerity-based yogic power) as the means by which Satī abandons the body.
