atapadvai tapo ghoraṃ kandamūlaphalāśanaḥ | varṣāṇāmayutaṃ sāgraṃ pratiṣṭhāpya maheśvaram
Isinagawa niya ang mabagsik na pag-aayuno at pagninilay, nabubuhay lamang sa mga ugat, bumbong, at bunga; at sa loob ng mahigit sampung libong taon, itinatag (at sinamba) niya roon si Maheśvara.
