Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 4

तस्य पूजनमात्रेण मुच्यते ब्रह्महत्यया

tasya pūjanamātreṇa mucyate brahmahatyayā

Sa pagdaramba lamang sa (Liṅga ni Rāmeśvara), napapalaya ang tao mula sa kasalanang brahmahatyā—ang pinakamabigat na sala ng pagpatay sa isang brāhmaṇa.
