Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 59

तीर्थासक्ताः सपत्नीका यथालब्धोपजीविनः । महासाहसयुक्तास्ते वैतालाख्यास्तु साधकाः

tīrthāsaktāḥ sapatnīkā yathālabdhopajīvinaḥ | mahāsāhasayuktāste vaitālākhyāstu sādhakāḥ

Ang mga nagsasadhana na deboto sa mga tīrtha (banal na tawiran), namumuhay kasama ang kanilang mga asawa, nabubuhay sa anumang kusang dumarating, at may dakilang katapangan—sila’y tinatawag na mga sādhaka na “Vaitāla.”
