ajapāla uvāca | atītānāgataṃ vipra varttamānaṃ tathaiva ca | tvaṃ vetsi sakalaṃ brahmaṃstapaścaryāprabhāvataḥ
Sinabi ni Ajapāla: O brāhmaṇa, nalalaman mo ang nakaraan, ang darating, at ang kasalukuyan; tunay nga, O Brahman, batid mo ang lahat sa bisa ng iyong tapas (mahigpit na pag-austeridad).
