Dahil sa mga pagtalimang ito, hindi ka makararanas kahit bahagyang dalamhati; at para sa kanila, ang kabutihang-loob at gantimpala ng kanilang mga gawa ay magiging di-nasisira at walang hanggan.
Śiva
Tirtha: Candrodbheda
Type: kshetra
Listener: Nṛpasattama (best of kings) addressed in frame narrative
Scene: A calm, didactic moment: Hara’s assurance to Candra that observances will remove even slight distress and make merit imperishable; sacred mountain backdrop with a nascent tīrtha aura.
Dharma practiced at the right time and in the right spirit yields akṣaya (imperishable) merit and benefits both worshippers and the cosmic order.
Candrodbheda-tīrtha is presented as efficacious for producing imperishable merit through eclipse-time observances.
Continuation of eclipse-time observances—snāna, dāna, and allied rites—promising akṣaya puṇya.
