Pulastya
Tirtha: Kulasaṃtāraṇa
Type: ghat
Listener: Yayāti
Scene: Pulastya narrates as the king’s body shines; the king steps onto a celestial vimāna surrounded by luminous beings and rises skyward from the tīrtha bank.
The tīrtha’s merit can transform and elevate a person, culminating in auspicious posthumous destiny symbolized by ascent to Svarga.
The context continues the Kulasaṃtāraṇa-tīrtha Māhātmya within the Arbuda Khaṇḍa of the Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa.
No direct ritual is stated in this verse; it narrates the फल (result)—ascent to heaven—following prior tīrtha-related merit.
