Gayon din, kapag ang katawang ito’y nalinis, ito’y nagiging dalisay at malinaw na tumutungo sa makalangit na daigdig. Kaya ang marunong ay hindi dapat tumanggap ng lubos na hamak.
Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta), addressing the sages (deduced from Māheśvarakhaṇḍa convention)
Scene: A purified pilgrim/ascetic, radiant and composed, contrasted with a shadowy ‘inferior’ influence; above, a clear path to a luminous heavenly realm.
Purification uplifts one to higher states; the wise avoid adopting degraded or inferior paths.
No tīrtha is mentioned in this verse; it concludes a moral-philosophical argument about purification.
A general prescription of śodhana (purification) and disciplined living is implied; no specific ritual is named.
