तामापतंतीं संप्रेक्ष्य गदां महिषवाहनः । गदायाः प्रतिघातार्थं जगज्ज्वलनभैरवम्

Transliteration

tāmāpataṃtīṃ saṃprekṣya gadāṃ mahiṣavāhanaḥ | gadāyāḥ pratighātārthaṃ jagajjvalanabhairavam

Translation

Nang makita ang pamalong rumaragasa patungo sa kanya, si Yama na nakasakay sa kalabaw ay naghanda upang salagin ang tama, at nagpaalab ng nakapangingilabot na liyab na wari’y sinusunog ang daigdig.
