Type: kshetra
Scene: A circle of yogins in meditation around a simple liṅga radiating calm, labeled ‘Sthāṇu’; nearby, townspeople craft varied liṅgas—stone, clay, wood—each collectively called ‘Puruṣa.’
The highest worship sees Śiva as present in all beings (sarvabhūtastha) and steady as Sthāṇu; devotion is open to yogins and householders alike.
No particular tīrtha is named; the verse universalizes worship beyond a single geography.
No specific rite is prescribed; it affirms multiple valid modes of liṅga worship and naming.
