Type: kshetra
Scene: A group of divine or eminent beings, thwarted by Divodāsa’s influence, pause in Kāśī—faces tense yet resolute—amid ghāṭs and temple silhouettes, deciding to remain and seek a higher remedy.
When ordinary efforts fail, steadfastness and turning toward higher dharma become the proper course.
Kāśī (Vārāṇasī) is the implied sacred setting within the Kāśīkhaṇḍa narrative.
No specific ritual is prescribed here; it sets up the shift from worldly ‘upāyas’ to devotional worship.
