तस्याः प्रियाया वाक्येन तदपत्यप्रियो गिरिः । उवाच वचनं सास्रमुमा वात्सल्यसन्नगीः
tasyāḥ priyāyā vākyena tadapatyapriyo giriḥ | uvāca vacanaṃ sāsramumā vātsalyasannagīḥ
Dahil sa mga salita ng kanyang minamahal, ang Bundok—na mahal ang kanyang anak—ay nagsalita nang may luha, at ang tinig niya’y nabubulunan sa paglalambing kay Umā.
