Type: kshetra
Listener: Agastya and/or sages (contextual)
Scene: A devotee, free from medical interventions, lives in dharma; at life’s natural end, a radiant solar chariot or orb receives him, with attendants honoring him in Sūrya-loka.
Purāṇic dharma links sincere worship with both worldly support and a luminous post-mortem destination.
The teaching belongs to the Kāśīkhaṇḍa’s Kāśī context, though the stated fruit is Sūrya-loka.
No new rite is added; it continues the promise of results for the earlier arghya and nāma worship of Sūrya.
