अगस्तिरुवाच । मथुरायां द्विजः कश्चिदभूद्भूदेवसत्तमः । तस्य पुत्रो महातेजाः शिवशर्मेति विश्रुतः
agastiruvāca | mathurāyāṃ dvijaḥ kaścidabhūdbhūdevasattamaḥ | tasya putro mahātejāḥ śivaśarmeti viśrutaḥ
Sinabi ni Agastya: Sa Mathurā ay may isang dalawang-ulit-na-isinilang, pinakadakila sa mga ‘diyos sa lupa’—isang kagalang-galang na Brāhmaṇa. Ang kanyang anak, na may dakilang ningning, ay tanyag sa pangalang Śivaśarmā.
