Agastya
Tirtha: Mahālakṣmī (Kolāpura)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahālakṣmī (direct address)
Scene: Agastya recites a hymn before Mahālakṣmī: she is lotus-born and lotus-eyed, seated in the heart-lotus of Viṣṇu; behind her, a symbolic Milk-Ocean motif glimmers; the atmosphere is one of refuge and grace.
Lakṣmī is the universal Mother and refuge; sincere surrender and praise invite her continual grace.
The narrative context is Kāśīkhaṇḍa; the hymn praises Mahālakṣmī as a resident, linking sacred place to cosmic Lakṣmī (Kṣīroda-born).
A clear devotional act is given: namaskāra (bowing) and stotra (hymnic praise) to Lakṣmī for ongoing favor.
