Transliteration

aho janānāṃ jaḍatā vihāya kāśīṃ yadanyatra na yaṃti cetaḥ | parisphuradgāṃgajalābhirāmāṃ kāmāriśūlāgradhṛtāṃ layepi

Translation

Ay, kay tigas ng ulo ng mga tao: iniiwan ang Kāśī at sa iba dinadala ang isip—yaong Kāśī na kaakit-akit sa kumikislap na tubig ng Gaṅgā, at sa pagkalusaw man ng daigdig ay iniaangat sa dulo ng trident ng kaaway ni Kāma, si Śiva.
