विशांपतिरथोवाच तन्मुखच्छाययेरितम् । विज्ञाय तदभिप्रायमलंभीत्या पुरौकसः
viśāṃpatirathovāca tanmukhacchāyayeritam | vijñāya tadabhiprāyamalaṃbhītyā puraukasaḥ
Pagkaraan, nagsalita ang hari, ang panginoon ng bayan, na inudyukan ng anyo sa kanilang mga mukha. Nang maunawaan ang kanilang layon, ang mga taga-lungsod, malaya sa pangamba, ay nakinig nang taimtim.
