तर्पणं प्रत्यहं कार्यं भर्तुः कुशतिलोदकैः । तत्पितुस्तत्पितुश्चापि नामगोत्रादिपूर्वकम
tarpaṇaṃ pratyahaṃ kāryaṃ bhartuḥ kuśatilodakaiḥ | tatpitustatpituścāpi nāmagotrādipūrvakama
Araw-araw ay dapat isagawa ang tarpaṇa para sa asawa, gamit ang tubig na hinaluan ng kuśa at linga (sesame). Gayundin para sa kanyang ama at lolo, na may wastong pagbanggit ng pangalan, gotra, at iba pa.
