विरोम विशिरं शस्तं पाणिपृष्ठंसमुन्नतम् । वैधव्यहेतुरोमाढ्यं निर्मांसं स्नायुमत्त्यजेत्

viroma viśiraṃ śastaṃ pāṇipṛṣṭhaṃsamunnatam | vaidhavyaheturomāḍhyaṃ nirmāṃsaṃ snāyumattyajet

Pinupuri ang kamay na walang balahibo at hindi litaw ang mga ugat; at ang likod ng palad na bahagyang nakataas ay itinuturing na mapalad. Datapwat talikdan ang palad na labis ang balahibo—na sinasabing sanhi ng pagkabalo—o yaong payat na walang laman at litaw ang litid.
