सा पतिं हंति वर्षेण यस्या मध्ये कृकाटिकम् । प्रदक्षिणो वा वामो वा रोम्णामावर्त्तकः स्त्रियाः
sā patiṃ haṃti varṣeṇa yasyā madhye kṛkāṭikam | pradakṣiṇo vā vāmo vā romṇāmāvarttakaḥ striyāḥ
Ang babaeng may tandang ‘kṛkāṭikā’ sa gitna ay sinasabing papatay sa kaniyang asawa sa loob ng isang taon. Gayundin, kung ang ikot ng buhok ng babae ay pakanan man o pakaliwa, itinuturing itong mahalagang pangitain.
