ईशान उवाच । यदि प्रसन्नो देवेश वरयोग्योस्म्यहं यदि । तदेतदतुलं तीर्थं तव नाम्नास्तु शंकर
īśāna uvāca | yadi prasanno deveśa varayogyosmyahaṃ yadi | tadetadatulaṃ tīrthaṃ tava nāmnāstu śaṃkara
Si Īśāna ay nagsalita: “Kung ikaw ay nalulugod, O Panginoon ng mga diyos, at kung ako’y karapat-dapat sa biyaya, kung gayon ay nawa’y taglayin ng walang kapantay na tīrtha na ito ang Iyong pangalan, O Śaṅkara.”
