Type: kshetra
Scene: A learned Purāṇa-knower points to a written gāthā while gesturing toward Kāśī’s landscape; above, a subtle icon of Pinākin (Śiva with bow/Pināka) signifies the governing principle behind the kṣetra’s marvels.
Purāṇic teachings are preserved as authoritative ‘gāthās’; understanding Śiva’s principle clarifies their intent.
Kāśī-kṣetra indirectly, as the surrounding passage frames these verses within Kāśī’s mahatmya and Śiva-centric theology.
None; the verse emphasizes scriptural authority and correct understanding of Śiva-tattva.
