Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 29

व्योम्नापि शब्दगुणिना ध्रुवाराधनबुद्धिना । शब्दजातस्त्वशेषोपि तत्कर्ण शरणीकृतः

vyomnāpi śabdaguṇinā dhruvārādhanabuddhinā | śabdajātastvaśeṣopi tatkarṇa śaraṇīkṛtaḥ

Maging ang Kalangitan, na ang likas na katangian ay tunog, sa isip na nakatuon sa pagsamba kay Dhruva, ay pinasuko ang buong sangkawan ng mga tunog; lahat ng tinig ay nagkanlong sa kaniyang tainga at napahinuhod.
