Transliteration

hitopadeṣṭā hitakṛdahitātyahitaḥ sadā | rūpavāñchīlasaṃpanno guṇavāndeśakālavit

Translation

Siya’y nagtuturo ng kapaki-pakinabang, gumagawa ng kapaki-pakinabang, at laging malayo sa nakapipinsala. Kaaya-aya ang anyo, may mabuting asal, hitik sa kabutihan, at marunong tumingin sa lugar at panahon.
