शिवशर्मोवाच । रमयंती मनोतीव केयं कस्येयमीशितुः । नयनानंदसंदोहदायिनीपूरनुत्तमा
śivaśarmovāca | ramayaṃtī manotīva keyaṃ kasyeyamīśituḥ | nayanānaṃdasaṃdohadāyinīpūranuttamā
Sinabi ni Śivaśarman: “Sino ito na lubhang nagpapasaya sa isipan, at kaninong Panginoon ang lungsod na ito? Ang walang kapantay na bayang ito’y nagbubuhos ng saganang ligaya sa mga mata.”
