शिशुमेनं समुद्धृत्य पुष्णाम्यौरसवद्ध्रुवम् । किं त्वविज्ञातकुलजं नोत्सहे स्प्रष्टुमुत्तमम्
śiśumenaṃ samuddhṛtya puṣṇāmyaurasavaddhruvam | kiṃ tvavijñātakulajaṃ notsahe spraṣṭumuttamam
“Tiyak na bubuhatin ko ang sanggol na ito at palalakihin na parang tunay kong anak. Ngunit yamang siya’y mula sa di-kilalang angkan, hindi ko magawang hipuin siya nang buong katiyakan.”
