पिता नास्ति न चान्योस्ति नास्ति बंधुजनोऽपि वा । अनाथः कृपणो बालः शेते केवल भूतले
pitā nāsti na cānyosti nāsti baṃdhujano'pi vā | anāthaḥ kṛpaṇo bālaḥ śete kevala bhūtale
“Walang ama, ni iba pang kasama; wala man lamang mga kamag-anak. Ang kaawa-awang ulilang bata’y nakahiga, walang magawa, sa hubad na lupa.”
