तस्मादस्य वशीकर्ता नास्तीति स शिवः स्मृतः । यथा सर्वमृगाणां च हिंसको मृगहिंसकः

Transliteration

tasmādasya vaśīkartā nāstīti sa śivaḥ smṛtaḥ | yathā sarvamṛgāṇāṃ ca hiṃsako mṛgahiṃsakaḥ

Translation

Kaya nga, sapagkat walang makapagsusupil o makakakontrol sa Kanya, Siya ay inaalala bilang Śiva. Kung paanong sa lahat ng hayop, ang mamamatay ay tinatawag na ‘mamamatay ng mga hayop’ (ang leon), gayon din Siya ang Walang Kapantay na hindi malalampasan ninuman.
