Bondage and Liberation: The Prakṛti–Karma Wheel and Śiva as the Transcendent Cause

Cosmic Event: Bondage mechanism: bhava-vṛddhi leading to prapañca-svātantrya-bhrānti (mistaking the world as self-arisen), resulting in subjugation by prapañca.
It highlights how the soul (paśu) becomes bound (pāśa) by taking the expanding worldly experience as self-valid and ultimate; liberation comes by turning to Pati—Lord Shiva—as the true ground beyond prapañca.
Linga-worship anchors the mind in Shiva as the transcendent Reality reflected in a sacred form; by fixing devotion on Saguna Shiva, the delusion that the world is self-originating and all-sufficient is weakened.
Japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with vibhuti (Tripuṇḍra) and steady contemplation reduces bhava-vṛddhi (worldly compulsions) and reorients awareness toward Shiva as Pati.
