शक्त्यादिसृष्टिनिरूपणम् / The Account of Creation Beginning with Śakti
ततः पुनरशेषाणां भूतानां प्रभवाप्ययात् । अव्यक्तादभवत्सृष्टिराज्ञया परमेष्ठिनः
tataḥ punaraśeṣāṇāṃ bhūtānāṃ prabhavāpyayāt | avyaktādabhavatsṛṣṭirājñayā parameṣṭhinaḥ
Pagkaraan, muli, para sa lahat ng nilalang—sa kanilang paglitaw at paglaho—ang paglikha ay umusad mula sa Avyakta (Di-nahahahayag), ayon sa utos ng Kataas-taasang Panginoon, si Parameṣṭhin, ang dakilang Tagapamahala.

It teaches that the universe is not random: all origination and dissolution occur from the subtle Unmanifest, governed by the Supreme Lord—pointing the seeker to recognize Shiva (Pati) as the ultimate controller beyond changing phenomena.
Since creation arises by the Supreme Lord’s ordinance, Linga-worship becomes a way to worship that very transcendent source through a sacred, accessible form—honoring Shiva as both beyond manifestation and present as its inner ruler.
