शैवधर्मप्रशंसा तथा पञ्चविधसाधनविभागः / Praise of Śaiva Dharma and the Fivefold Classification of Practice

अनादिमलसंश्लेषः प्रागभावात्स्वभावतः । अत्यंतं परिशुद्धात्मेत्यतो ऽयं शिव उच्यते

Transliteration

anādimalasaṃśleṣaḥ prāgabhāvātsvabhāvataḥ | atyaṃtaṃ pariśuddhātmetyato 'yaṃ śiva ucyate

Translation

Sapagkat sa Kanyang likas na kalikasan, walang walang-simulang pagkakadikit sa karumihan sa Kanya—ang dungis ay wala na mula pa sa simula—at sapagkat ang Kanyang Sarili ay lubos na dalisay, kaya Siya tinatawag na “Śiva.”
