कैलासगमनं कुबेरसख्यं च — Śiva’s Journey to Kailāsa and His Friendship with Kubera

अधीत्याध्ययनार्थं स द्विजैर्मित्रैस्समं ययौ । एकपुत्रेति तन्माता प्रतारयति दीक्षितम्

adhītyādhyayanārthaṃ sa dvijairmitraissamaṃ yayau | ekaputreti tanmātā pratārayati dīkṣitam

Matapos tapusin ang pag-aaral, siya’y umalis upang magpatuloy sa higit pang pagkatuto, kasama ang kanyang mga kaibigang Brahmin. Ngunit ang kanyang ina, sa pag-iisip na “Siya ang aking kaisa-isang anak,” ay nagsikap na pigilan ang dīkṣita na umalis.
