The verse frames progeny as a fruit of auspicious dharma: the names “Siddha” (accomplishment) and “Buddherlābha” (gain of right intellect) indicate that true welfare and happiness arise when life is aligned with Shiva’s order (dharma) and inner clarity.
In the Shiva Purana narrative ethos, household well-being (kṣema) is commonly presented as a grace that follows devotion to Saguna Shiva—often centered on Linga worship—where worldly harmony supports the higher aim of spiritual maturation.
A practical takeaway is to seek kṣema and buddhi through regular Shiva-upāsanā: daily remembrance of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” ideally with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and a calm, disciplined mind.
