Sukta 9.64

Rishi: Soma Pavamāna seer-tradition.

इन्दुः पविष्ट चेतनः प्रियः कवीनां मती । सृजदश्वं रथीरिव ॥

índuḥ paviṣṭa cétanaḥ priyáḥ kavīnā́ṃ matī́ | sṛjád áśvaṃ rathī́r iva ||

Indu, most purified, becomes the awakened consciousness, beloved of the seers’ thought; he releases the steed of power as a charioteer sets free his horse—sending the life-force forward for the journey.
