Sarga 93: Rāvaṇa’s Grief and Fury after Indrajit’s Fall; Move to Slay Vaidehī and Ministerial Restraint

'I am a foolish woman. I did not follow Hanuman's advice and had I left mounted on his back, no doubt I would be on my husband 's lap. I did not think in this way'.
Dharma is linked to wise discernment and timely action: ignoring good counsel can deepen suffering; admitting error truthfully (satya toward oneself) is also a moral act.
Sītā reflects on Hanumān’s earlier offer to carry her away; she regrets refusing and now laments her continued captivity and fear.
Truthfulness and humility—Sītā openly acknowledges her own mistaken decision rather than blaming others alone.
