The Slaying of Indrajit
तस्तान् राक्षसान् सर्वांस्त्रिभिरेकैकमाहवे ।।6.91.25।।अविध्यत्परमक्रुद्धश्शीघ्रास्त्रंसम्प्रदर्शयन् ।राक्षसेन्द्रसुतंचापिबाणौघैस्समताडयत् ।।6.91.26।।
tatas tān rākṣasān sarvāṃs tribhir ekaikam āhave | avidhyat paramakruddhaḥ śīghrāstraṃ sampradarśayan | rākṣasendrasutaṃ cāpi bāṇaughaiḥ samatāḍayat ||
(Ulit) Sa matinding galit, tinamaan niya sa labanan ang lahat ng mga rākṣasa—bawat isa’y tig-tatlong palaso—na ipinakikita ang bilis ng kanyang mga sandata; at maging ang anak ng hari ng mga rākṣasa ay kanyang binayo ng ulang-palaso.
Then extremely angry Lakshmana pierced all the Rakshasas quickly, each one with three arrows and struck them and even the son of Rakshasa king, exhibiting his skills.
As a repeated reading, it reinforces the same dharma-point: decisive protection and disciplined force in a righteous war.
A repeated line in the transmission reiterates Lakṣmaṇa’s rapid counterstrike against the rākṣasas and Indrajit.
