The fierce and tumultuous impact of the sound produced by their palms (clappings) could be heard separately. It was like a violent wind that had shaken.
The verse frames kṣatriya-dharma: rightful war is undertaken with courage and steadfastness, even when it becomes terrifying—discipline sustains dharma amid chaos.
Lakṣmaṇa and Indrajit clash in close combat; the impacts are so intense that the sounds are heard distinctly and unsettle the surrounding forces.
Fearlessness and resolve under pressure—martial steadiness despite the dreadful intensity of battle.
