युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

मन्दस्तुभ्रातरंभग्नंदृष्टवातत्रमहाहवे ।लभिदुद्राववेगेनप्रगृह्यमहतींशिलाम् ।।।।
maindaḥ tu bhrātaraṃ bhagnaṃ dṛṣṭvā tatra mahāhave |
abhidudrāva vegena pragṛhya mahatīṃ śilām ||
Nang makita ni Mainda na nabuwal ang kanyang kapatid sa dakilang labanan, mabilis siyang sumugod, tangan ang isang napakalaking bato.
Seeing the brother shattered in the great combat, Mainda on his part seizing a huge rock rushed swiftly.
